So, brought to you an option, a trip, which you can manage in one night and two days in around 3000 bucks.. Gear up for the trip. Just imagining yourself in this place will give you placidity. Yeah you guessed it right we are again seeking solace in the arms of Kanchenjunga. We will drop the extended part of this trip too.

We did enough talking. So we are going to Mirik. The hill town is in north Bengal. We contacted “Sudure Travels” for hassle-free travelling. We will put their contact details for your convenience. This small town has a soothing tranquility which heals your weariness. Do you know what it means by Mirik?

It came from a Lepcha word which translates into a place burnt by fire.

To reach Mirik you have to come to Siliguri no matter where do you live, from there you can rent cars or take the bus. The entire journey duration is 1.5 hours. But Mirik will not give a single moment of boredom. The picturesque landscape of Mirik will entertain you throughout.

We stayed at the Amaira Resort, one of the Famous 4 Star Resorts in Mirik. The hospitality was outstanding. We will provide the contact details in the below area.

At walking distance from the hotel, the Mirik Lake is situated. There is a taxi stand from there we booked our car for sightseeing. We closed the deal at 2300 rupees.

We started with the Gopaldhara tea garden. This is the most famous and largest tea garden in Mirik. Most teas are exported from here which is publicized as Darjeeling tea. Definitely tea garden has its own beauty but calm tranquility will engross your mind. We bought some tea leaves from here and also had a mouthwatering Bengali lunch.

Next, we headed to the Simana viewpoint. During the journey, we came across the Pashupati market. From here you can enter the Nepal border with certain IDs. From the Simana viewpoint, you can watch the Nepal border. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see due to heavy fogs. From there we went to Jorepokhri via Sukhiya Pokhri. The journey was memorable due to the milieu of pine trees and sweet sun rays. There is a lake, flower garden and large pine forest. You stay there in the home stay. While returning we went back to the Simana viewpoint. This time it didn’t disappoint us. The view is mind-blowing.

The next point is the Swiss cottage. The cottages here are made in the manner of Switzerland. It’s such a nice ambience. You can stay here also. It costs 5000 rupees. But with 10 rupees entry fee you can totally enjoy the beauty.

And lastly we visited Timling viewpoint, which is 7 km down from Mirik. It also offers beautiful scenery. The green velvet-covered hills and ivory clouds over the sapphire sky are a combination worth watching. It heads towards Chaindara, the most beautiful place in Mirik.

From here we returned to Siliguri and our journey of Mirik ends like this. Hope you like the Tour Plan.
